What is the best way to produce CBD-rich cannabis oil?

The cannabis oil that is typically available at medical marijuana  dispensaries often has high levels of THC (the stuff that gets you "high") with little cannabidiol.

Ours is the opposite of this. Meaning, we have higher levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and tiny amounts of THC.

To do this we start with "CBD-rich" plants.

Will I potentially fail a drug test if I take DNA CBD-rich cannabidiol CBD.

Yes it is possible, even though our THC levels are far below the legal limit (0.03%) you may fail a drug test.

Drug tests have come a long way and are geared heavily toward identifying THC at any level. At the time of writing, drug test facilities have not figured out how separate CBD results from THC results.

Since our CBD-rich CBD's have a small amount (below the legal limit) of THC, this small amount of THC may register on sensitive drug tests.

How is CBD metabolized when consumed orally?

CBD is metabolized into an analogous compound, 7-hydroxy-CBD, by the liver. Some 6-OH-CBD may also be formed. There is currently very little known about the activity of these compounds. There is strong evidence that CBD does not convert to significant amounts THC in the stomach.

Does it matter if CBD is extracted from cannabis or industrial hemp?

YES, we recommend DNA CBD-rich products that are made using only organic, 100% USA Made cannabis due to our process that delivers the highest  purity product.

Industrial hemp typically contains far less cannabidiol than CBD-rich cannabis strains, so a massive amount of industrial hemp is required to extract only a small amount of CBD.

This raises the levels of risk regarding contaminants, potential fillers, synthetics and more that are quite concerning.

As a grower, can you increase the amount of CBD content by manipulating environmental factors?

Negative. The purity of a plant is determined by its genetic makeup. Therefore, contrary to false information, an inferior plant cannot be made a quality plant just by changing the temperature, lighting, and other environmental simulation processes.

We can, however, influence the overall well being of a healthy plant by manipulating its environmental factors (temperature, lighting, water, nutrients, etc).

Does CBD interact with other medications?

Yes, it is possible. CBD inhibits the same enzyme that is involved in metabolizing many drugs. By inhibiting the same enzyme (cytochrome P450), Our products can either increase or decrease the effects of other drugs.

As always check with your physician prior to starting the use of any of our products. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

If DNA CBD's are non-psychoactive (does NOT get you high), does that mean it is legal?

Yes, as long as they are derived from hemp, not marijuana, and contain less than 0.3% THC. No medical marijuana card is required to buy or use DNA hemp-derived CBD products.

Will DNA CBD's affect my appetite?

Unlike THC ("pot", "weed", etc) our CBD's have negligible effects on appetite and full stomach feelings, etc.

What are Terpenes?

Terpenes are simply essential oils found in plants. They are responsible for smell and taste.

Our products taste of the natural flavor of the plant. However, being twice distilled, there is very little taste left remaining.

Can I give my pet CBD (my dog, cat, etc.)?

Yes. Pets benefit from CBD for the same reasons as humans.

However, a dosage for dogs or cats will more than likely be much smaller than yours.

However, We recommend you speak with your Veterinarian before you start giving your pet CBD.

Your instructions say to put the proper amount under my tongue (sublingual use only), but how long do I keep it under my tongue?

30 to 60 seconds is a fair amount, followed by simply swallowing.

Please note, it is important to speak with your doctor regarding CBD use, especially if you are taking other medications, supplements, and/or other medicines.

What Is CBD?

It’s short for cannabidiol, and it’s a natural compound found in both marijuana and hemp plants. There’s some evidence that it might help treat pain, seizures, and some other health problems. But much more research is needed for doctors to know for sure what it can do.

How Do You Take DNA CBD?

You can take CBD oil by itself by mouth, or use one of many products that has it as an ingredient. These include pills, chewable gels, “tinctures” you drop under your tongue, vape cartridges you breathe in, salve and creams on your skin, and foods like chocolate bars. The amount and quality of CBD in these products can be very different.

Does DNA CBD Make You High?

CBD doesn’t -- another substance in marijuana called THC does that. If you use a CBD product, check the label and make sure that’s the only cannabinoid listed. In states where marijuana is legal, some companies put product information online that lists the amount of each ingredient.

Is DNA CBD Addictive?

CBD oil by itself is not. But CBD products that also have THC can be. The key again is to know the source and check the ingredients and the amounts so you know exactly what you’re using.

Can DNA CBD Help With Seizures?

The FDA has approved only one CBD-based drug, and it’s used to treat two rare types of epilepsy: Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. It’s called Epidiolex, and it’s approved for adults and kids over age 2.

Can DNA CBD Ease Pain?

Scientists are working to see if it might help with arthritis, and some people with HIV say it helps relieve nerve pain (also called neuropathy). There’s some evidence that it may help muscle spasms linked to multiple sclerosis, too. More research is needed to know for sure.

Does It Help Blood Pressure?

In normal conditions, CBD doesn’t seem to affect this one way or the other. But researchers are studying whether it might help keep your blood pressure stable when you’re stressed. More work needs to be done before scientists fully understand its effects.

Does DNA CBD Help Inflammation?

Early studies show that CBD might help with this, especially if it’s related to arthritis, MS, diabetes, or Alzheimer’s. But scientists are still trying to prove that and figure out how it works.

Does CBD Help Cancer?

In studies done on lab mice, CBD oil showed promise at killing breast cancer cells and making chemotherapy drugs work better. But researchers have much more work to do to see if CBD can help people in that way.

Is It Good for Your Skin?

There is evidence that CBD might be a treatment for acne. It seems to help with both the inflammation that can lead to breakouts and the amount of fatty acids in the blood, which can make them worse. It also may protect skin cells from damage.

Does It Help Psychosis?

One study showed it helped ease the symptoms of psychosis in people with schizophrenia, but more research is needed to know just how well it might work. Keep in mind that THC, which is found in a number of CBD products, can have the opposite effect, and product labels aren’t always accurate.

Does It Help Addiction?

Much more study is needed, but early studies show that CBD may help people who want to break their addiction to cigarettes as well as drugs like heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine. This may be in part because it seems to help with anxiety and muscle tension.

Are There Side Effects?

So far, CBD doesn’t seem to cause serious ones. When it’s used to treat epilepsy or psychotic disorders, people reported tiredness, diarrhea, and changes in appetite. But CBD can affect how other medications work, so be sure to tell your doctor about everything you take, including vitamins and supplements.

Please note, it is important to speak with your doctor regarding CBD use, especially if you are taking other medications, supplements, and/or other medicines.
